The Salted Line A7IV Housing with a 4-inch Optical Glass Flat Port bundle is designed for use with the Sony A7IV camera. It supports a range of zoom and prime E-mount lenses, providing zoom or focus functionality for some of them.

Flat glass ports are ideal for both prime and zoom lenses when shooting at the water's surface. While they can be used underwater, keep in mind that a flat port can reduce your lens's angle of view by up to 28%. For optimal results with wide-angle and fisheye lenses, a dome port is recommended instead.

Thanks to its compact dimensions and lightweight design, the 4-inch glass flat-port bundle is the most travel-friendly option available.

This housing provides full control of all camera functions (except the joystick and Still / Movie / S&Q dial) and is equipped with a standard bayonet mount featuring a 90mm diameter, compatible with a wide range of Sea Frogs dry flat and dome ports (except those made for A6xxx and RX1xx camera housings).

The control buttons feature a 50% increase in spring stiffness, providing superior tactile feedback for precise control. The Salted Line housing is rated for depths of up to 40 meters (130 feet), ensuring reliable underwater performance.
What dome and flat ports are compatible? +
The housing uses a 90mm bayonet mount, compatible with all Salted Line / Sea Frogs dome and flat ports for that bayonet size.
Does it include a port? +
No port is included. Ports are sold separately.
What O-rings and maintenance is required? +
Inspect and lubricate the O-ring before every dive. Replace O-rings at least once per year or every 50 dives. Use only Salted Line / Sea Frogs silicone grease — third-party greases may cause leaks.
Can I connect an external strobe without an optical cable? +
The housing features a standard Synchro cable port for direct strobe connection, in addition to dual fiber-optic ports (Sea&Sea type).
Does the shutter grip come included? +
No — the detachable shutter grip with two-stage trigger is sold separately.
