Sony A7 IV underwater housings

Two Salted Line housings fit the Sony A7 IV. Both are rated to 40 m / 130 ft, take the same 90 mm bayonet ports, and share the built-in leak sensor, dual fibre-optic ports, interchangeable port system and reinforced metal base plate.

They differ in the controls they reach and the accessory ports they carry. Pick the one that matches how you shoot — the ports and gears you already own fit either.

Salted Line CH A7 IV8 products

The original housing. Dual-sided metal latch locking with stainless-steel latches and locking pins, a high-quality optical viewfinder, and a dedicated synchro cable port. Reaches every camera control except the joystick and the Still/Movie/S&Q dial, with buttons 50% stiffer for surer feedback.

The newer build. Triple-sided metal latch locking, a Photo/Video/S&Q switch, a vacuum check system port and an integrated M33 threaded bulkhead, with buttons 70% stiffer and added resistance to hydrodynamic shock. Reaches every control except the touchscreen; it carries no dedicated sync-cable bulkhead.
