This housing provides full control of all camera functions (excluding the touchscreen) and is equipped with an 80mm bayonet mount, compatible only with the flat and dome ports made exclusively for the Salted Line A6xxx and RX1xx camera housings.

The Salted Line housing is rated for depths of up to 60 meters (195 feet), ensuring reliable underwater performance.
Acrylic ports deliver solid image quality in most scenarios, and they have the advantages of being lighter, more affordable, and easier to repair. Glass dome ports, while offering slightly superior image quality in specific conditions and better scratch resistance, cannot be repaired if scratched.
The 6" domes deliver excellent image quality in most shooting conditions while being significantly more compact and travel-friendly, making them the preferred choice for many users. While 8" domes can offer slightly improved edge sharpness, their larger size makes them bulkier and less convenient to transport.
Dome Ports include a lens shade that protects them from accidental contact with objects during use and offers benefits in some shooting conditions. The Surf Edition Dome Ports are designed without a lens shade to minimize drag when shooting in large waves.
No port is included. Ports are sold separately.
Inspect and lubricate the O-ring before every dive. Replace O-rings at least once per year or every 50 dives. Use only Salted Line / Sea Frogs silicone grease — third-party greases may cause leaks.
Yes. The housing is ready for the Sony A6100, A6300, A6400, A6400,A6500 and A6000 straight out of the box.
No. This housing is not compatible with the Sony A6600 or A6700 - those cameras use their own dedicated Salted Line housings.
The A6xxx housing uses an 80mm bayonet and works only with the flat and dome ports made exclusively for the Salted Line A6xxx and RX1xx housings. They are not interchangeable with standard Sea Frogs ports.
